Advisory & Capital
Interstice works with founders, investors, and organisations navigating situations where too many unknowns prevent progress — and helps turn fragmented interests into structured, actionable opportunities.
Approach
Most advisory work begins after the opportunity is defined. We begin before that — in the space where stakeholders want to move forward but can't yet see how.
We call this opportunity formation: the practice of building the conditions for a decision when no single party has enough information, authority, or incentive to act alone.
In complex, multi-stakeholder situations, no one starts with the full picture. We begin by identifying what each party can actually offer or commit to — however partial — and use that as the foundation.
Each small commitment unlocks the next conversation. What stakeholder A provides becomes the basis for what stakeholder B needs to hear. The structure of the opportunity emerges through movement, not planning.
We don't force consensus. We construct sequences of small, credible steps that make it rational for each party to participate — until the collective path becomes clear and commitment follows naturally.
The situations we work in are, by their nature, unknowable in advance. We cannot guarantee outcomes — no one credibly can when the terrain is genuinely uncertain. What we can do is bring structure, movement, and clarity to situations that lack all three.
We do our best work when we can work closely with your team — understanding not just your position, but your client's. The closer we are to the real dynamics, the better we can help shape what comes next.
Opportunities rarely arrive fully formed. More often, they have to be assembled — one stakeholder, one insight, one commitment at a time.
What we do
The advisory and capital sides of Interstice are connected by design. We advise because we understand the terrain, and we invest because we believe in what we help build.
We work with organisations facing complex transactions and strategic situations — where capital, technology, regulatory considerations, and multiple stakeholders intersect. Our role is to help structure the path forward: aligning interests, sequencing decisions, and turning ambiguity into action.
Interstice is not the solution to your capital needs. However, selectively, we invest into the businesses and opportunities we advise. This isn't a fund — it's a deliberate practice of backing what we believe in with more than advice. And in some cases, it is what's needed to de-risk the very first step in the opportunity formation of our relationship.
